Here is the Alaska statute defining kidnapping as a state offense: Alaska Stat. § 11.41.300. : Alaska Statutes - Section 11.41.300.: Kidnapping.
The point I was trying to make is that THEY are involved!

I pointed to the text that affirms that.

No one ever said this was about me except you.

I am merely voicing my opinion! I stand by what I said; once you read all the exceptions. NOTICE THE WORD "all".

More often than not they are involved.

and when they are. they do not advertise it.. as you suggest despite what you posted.

They are the "experts" in kidnappings - police depts are NOT!

Has it been a week now? She's probably dead by now. This is typically how these things turn out isn't it?

Don't know, but I do know that Alaska is the rape capital of the United States.

Could be used as evidence in trial; release could taint jury

Police Explain Why They Won

I have no idea what to hell they're talking about. Who cares if the video might taint a jury. Priority one is finding the missing girl.

These idiots are worried about what might happen during a trial when they have no idea who took the girl? WTF? Even if the face of the perp' isn't visible that doesn't mean someone wouldn't recognize his mannerisms or clothing or something else.

Well about now I don't hold out much positive hope for her, I would like to think I'm terribly wrong but the odds aren't in her favor.

When they catch up with the guy, I just hope he resists arrest really badly!

I agree Star - it doesn't look too good for a positive ending!

Two things come to mind - She is either dead and he is long gone (someplace) or she ran off with him and made it look like something else.

Well I would be happier if she ran off with him on purpose, that means she is OK for the time being.

That's been my thinking all along, she ran off, and at this point I too hope that's the case.
