Default Moving to anchorage

Hi, I've been living overseas for a number of years and it looks like now is the time to come back "home". I could really use some "hard" information about the cost of living in Anchorage, apartment rental, public transportation, hospitals, schools etc. I will be going back to school and as a card carrying member of the over 40 club, I was curious if anyone has any experience as a non-traditional student attending the University of Anchorage.

Default Anchorage News

Make sure you have checked the www.adn.com (local newspaper) for latest news. My brother is a mail man in Anchorage. I lived there until 77 and still would love to go back.

Let me know if you want to be put in touch with him. He is very computer savvy and a lover of Anchorage.

Alaska where they can grow a 14 foot tall chard and a 66 pound celery and a 1100 pound pumpkin.
