Hmmmm. I hear ya. But sleeping in your car....it isn't just for hangovers anymore. It's the new cheap camp. I am THE bargain shopper.

I don't think I was hungover at the time. I was driving from Ohio to Massachusetts after being awake for three days at a festival. I stopped to nap somewhere in PA & had a trooper tell me to rest in a rest area. I wound up driving the entire way back to my parents' house. When I got home I put my head on my futon, closed my eyes & the plumbers began to break up the bath tub in my parents' bathroom with a sledgehammer & throw it out the window. The tub was on the other side of my bedroom wall. I got up & walked around town hallucinating for a few hours till they were gone & I could sleep.

Definately the Captain Cook. Get a suite on an upper floor overlooking the city. The night lights are cool. The inlet view is not bad...but then I've been looking at it all my life.

Captain Cook, without a doubt. I like the rooms with the view of the mountains. I would ask for one up high!

I'm looking at a Captain's Deck King. I just want to see if my travel agent can get a better price than I can get. I should know tomorrow.

Inlet Tower is a nice place, too. They have suites up on the top. I get good rates there. I get the cheap rooms, but they have jacuzzi tubs in them. Good views, too. I've heard a lot on the Millennium on Lake Hood, supposed to be a very nice place but I've never stayed there. The Dimond Hotel is on the upper end, too. Nice king sized beds and very big tubs. Spendy but good.
