Gwins in Cooper Landing has the most awesome smoked salmon chowder. I'm telling you people...if your passing through Cooper Landing you have to stop and try a bowl. They even have cabins if you need a place to stay. It's in the mountains, close to the Kenai River, rafting trips and awesome trout float trips, and they have bears wandering around every summer.

I had salmon tonight for dinner. I don't know if it was frozen but it had an excellent bourbon glaze. The bad part about it was that it took an hour and a half to appear from the kitchen.

You should have started a fire in the backyard, wrapped it in foil, and been done with it in 15 minutes!
