Hi. I'm looking for a mechanic that will install a circulating block heater on my truck. Preferably Palmer, or Wasilla. I don't really have time to go to Anchorage. While my mechanical skills are alright, I'm low on time and don't have a garage. Anyone know anyone? I've called Midas and a few other places but all have said they don't do it. I airway have the heater.
Thanks!

I've been happy with the work they've done for me.

What ever you do don't go to midas, I got screwed by the one in eagle river and I don't imagine the one in palmer or Wasilla are any better. I had parts fail that were not installed correctly and were literally a month or 2 out of warrenty so I had to pay for it all over again somewhere else.

Your issue is going to be schedule, most shops at least in anchorage are open m-f 8-5 exactly the same times when most everyone else is at work as well and they are usually booked up till god knows when.

I would take it to the dealership if I were you, it will be a little more but SO much less hassle.

I agree. Avoid Midas.
Master Auto is open on Saturdays.
