Post Another Alaskan Question

My husband and I want to travel the first 2 weeks in September to Anchorage/Fairbanks/Ft. Yukon, etc. Two questions from someone lucky enough to live up there: 1. Is it the rainy season then? 2. What about misquitoes? So looking forward to our trip. Hey, here's a 3. What/who is best to contact for a combination rail, fly-in to Yukon, rental car from Fairbanks around, coastal cruise, arrangements? There are so many advertised! Thanks so much to anyone who can help me. Chris
