Thats a little dramatic, I have a friend that lives over there and its not that bad. Its not kimpton hills but come on man, it also does not have the pretentious price tag either.

Would you live there? Would you feel safe having your wife go to and from her car late at night alone? I wouldn't.

No, but I go there late at night and visit my buddy, i usually carry a chest holstered full size hand gun there. But I think thats just me being paranoid, my buddy does not carry a gun most of the time and has never been accosted in the decade he has lived there. We had a mutual friend who was female who lived next door to him and she never had issues.

I think it is more hype than actual danger. Granted if it were my wife and we had no choice but to live there I would walk her to her car and such but its not like I would be slinging an AR and kevlar just to walk around.

That's what I was thinking. He might be OK in a dicey area, but what about his wife?

I may be wrong, but since he lived in New Jersey, he probably doesn't own a gun or good boots.
