My average speed was no more than 70. I dont think it will be any quicker with two drivers. As long as you keep on driving. Depending on the vehicle you are driving, anything over 70 is dangerous on the road with the frost heaves in the road.

In June if you are on the road at 6AM, you will have plenty of daylight for the drive, and be in Haines anywhere between 8 and 10PM that night.

Thanks ASpilot2be. This is the return leg and it looks like we'll have to leave at 4AM to catch the ferry or try to get closer to Tok before overnighting. Our trip to Anchorage will be more leisurely so we can see the sights.

In June, pulling an all nighter really isnt bad. Especially if you have two drivers. It only gets dark for a short period of time. You can watch the sun set, and then watch it rise while scrambling for your sunglasses
