I do know there are classes to get a tams card. Not sure if there is a mixology class tho.

Try contacting the AK Hospitality Alliance Educaiton foundation they're in the yellow pages for Anchorage, I'm not sure if I can give you the phone over this post I guess I can PM you. But if they don't know I know they can direct you to who knows.

Just a tip - When I was researching bartending schools I talked with bartenders who had been in the business for awhile and they said your chances are actually better starting at a small bar and working your way up than bartending school because some of the things they teach tend to be outdated and impractical in today's industry,plus some bars differ in the way they do business and they'd have to teach you in their way anyway.
But it is useful I suppose to gain some basic knowledge...(just don't tell them you went to school)
