Hi, all!

I have been reading posts in this forum for months, anticipating a move to Anchorage by the end of summer. I have gleaned A LOT of very helpful information and I am grateful to everyone who contributes here.

Although I am planning a house-hunting trip sometime in late July or early August, I am wondering if anyone could tell me more about this condo community: Welcome to Hearthstone Condominiums

It seems to be in a decent area of Anchorage with good schools and a low crime rate. Has anyone heard any buzz about it--good or bad? I know condos aren't for everyone, but we are not particularly interested in a large SF home with a lot of maintenance in a climate that we are not used to. We've lived in condos (and SFHs) before, so we're familiar with the pros and cons, so I would just like to know more about this particular area.

I appreciate any and all replies.

To add to my question: wetlands maps I have accessed on-line show part of this tract to be a class C wetland area. This is not something that I have ever dealt with before, so it concerns me a little. Once again, I very much appreciate any and all feedback.

Where do you park your boat, snowmachines, atv's and travel trailer? Looks nice but a little crowded.

That looks quite nice!! I'm considering a move (back) to Alaska and I like the idea of a townhouse/condo as I don't know how well I'd do with snow removal in a single family home.
