When I was in Sterling grade school back in the 70's, I remember 2 to 3 foot of snow on Halloween. We lived a mile from the school and I had walked there for a school party, then did the trick or treat thing on the way home, at all 3 places (was pretty small community then). Had to trudge up each driveway through knee deep snow. Seems like now days it's below zero and no snow during Halloween.
