Maybe you should ask Amy to go out on a nature hike with you. Photograph some flowers and wild animals. Chicks dig that nature hike stuff. Don't take her back to the dorm room and show her your computer setup. That would be a total turn off...

Yeah...you won't get many stamps watching movies on the computer Bob. You'll have to actually step out of the challet.
You could have asked to get your passport stamped at the Canadian Border and at the Alaskan border. I had mine done at North Dakota...and Sweden had her's done at the Ak border (it's a cool stamp of a brown bear).

I asked for a stamp at Sumas when crossing onto the Canadian side. The nice lady in the booth asked if I'd also like to get my car searched. I told her I'd be fine without the stamp. Going into Skagway they always ask if I've got my train stamp yet. So I have 5 Skagway train stamps and nothing from Canada.

They didn't search my vehicle going into Canada...but I did have to go in while they did a background check. Cost me 30 minutes.

Us too. We lost at least 30 minutes. On the plus side they did not take my head of lettuce. On the down side, I'd gone and made a huge batch of potato salad so I would not have to give up my potatoes. Whatever happened to that thing about Canadian officials confiscating fresh produce of all types??

Did they take the potato salad? I remember using all the potatoes we left with before crossing the border, because they didn't want whatever came with them...but certainly not going to plant potato salad in Canada...
