Take a minute and look at Bob's profile. Check out his myspace page. Unlike Lone Traveler this man, Bob Blockus, makes plans and follows through on them. I met Bob when I was in Skagway and didn't realize it until he started posting on here. He's a nice guy that is just out there living life and enjoying it.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Bob Blockus and keep us informed on your travel plans up to Alaska. Your a good guy, yes indeed...

I believe you. He probably just has a different way of communicating with the written word than most people do. It's a shame about the snide little comments here.

Dawson Creek start of Alaska Highway. Bob Blockus stay at Best Western Hotel
500 highway #2. at check in Mr Blockus should get 50 percent off so can stay extra night. Mayer or government official from Dawson Creek could leave voice message in Mr Blockus hotel room to have Mr Blockus join him or her for lunch and leave call back office number. spear head talking ideas over two hour lunch.

It looks like a nice hotel but I never could afford to stay there. That's where the Subaru Outback comes in handy. Plenty of room in the back to snooze. Good luck on meeting with the mayor. You might try sending him an email or just calling and leaving a message so he knows your coming.

I should have bought stock. They are good cars and I really like mine. Just trying to steer Bob away from the KIA. He'll find more Subaru dealers on his trip just in case anything happens. KIA dealers seemed to be few and far between.

Bob Blockus will have Stiff Neck driving all the way by himself, 4,800 miles. that is why good to stay in hotels once or twice or three times along the way with hot tub. bubble jet action. sleep in car and camping too. REI Hobitat 4 Tent is best.
