Mr. Bob, try taking in some of the scenic bits as you go. Well make the drive much easier and fun.

After Salt Lake City it will be scenic. I have been buying gas every time its half full to get experianced that way.

Are you planning on staying any extra days anywhere? Just to do some sight seeing?

It's the trill of the 6,000 mile road trip no need to sight see. I have good binoculars that I can use on the highway to look at mountains at stop areas through canada and alaska. make about 1/2 hour stops and walk around. don't loose the car keys right?

Mr bob needs advice on defensive driving for road side wildlife. always good idea to learn everything how to survive Canada, Alaska road systems. guess best advice slow down to normal speed of 60 MPH.

Like that! Make sure to take keys out of ignition when getting out of car...and maybe phone...

Mr Bob...stop being scared, stop, see and poke around as a tourist to see sights...talk pictures for us!! not the same to look thru bino's...get out and experience it...just like your gonna do in Denali...your gonna have to get out in nature and experience it so do it now....slow break in to enjoy it.
