Has anyone been to the gym in Anchorage that has the ROM machine? How is it? How much is the membership? I am looking into some gyms. I would like to try out the ROM at a gym but I also am looking for a gym with an indoor track. Any suggestions, comments, answers, etc?

I actually got the CD & media package from the ROM company. Those machines are ultra spendy. Let us know if you think the workout is what its cracked up to be.

I definitely will. I won't get to Alaska until February so remind me if I don't leave a response by March.

Okay, so here is my thought on the ROM. It is quite an interesting contraption. It did make me work for the four minutes I was on it. I also felt the burn as if I were running for 20 minutes at a moderate speed. It's two days later and I am not sore... The trial use is free at the 4 minute gym. My husband did get a sweat in. I would give it a shot.

Be advised... I would try it out for at least a month in a gym before putting out 15 grand to buy the machine.

So is there a gym in Anchorage that has it, then? Better than shelling out 15k for it, yes?

Sorry guys, it's been a while. Yes the machine is about over 15 grand; that is up from over 14 grand that it used to cost. The gym membership is about $40 a month. There is a joining fee. It is located at: 6634 Lake Otis Pkwy # C Anchorage, AK 99507.
