What part of CA? I moved from Anchorage to Orange County, CA almost 2 years ago. Are you SURE you want to do this? It is VERY expensive here in SoCal. Do you know what life is like here? We shipped our car to Seattle and drove it down from there. It was about $750 one way. I don't remember the name of the company but I think it was White or Whittier something. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Just to let you know also, one bedroom apts. around here that are decent start around $1300-$1400 and the jobs pay no more than they do in Anchorage.

Just wondering why you made the move?
