Isn't lower income taxes part of my Republican line? <sigh> I wish that lower taxes alone would cut it and thereby prove me right, but I don't think that will work. Credit monies are required and large scale public works enforce private business growth. As evidenced by the TVA and CCC in the Great Depression and the large-scale Interstate Highway building efforts in the 50's.

That may have been true a few months (years) ago, but now is too late for that as somebody has to pay for the current bailout (China maybe), but it has already been done Bob, yes indeed...., but where do we go from here...maybe Bob should run for office considering his influential friends...Grannysroost believes, and has for a long time, that we as individuals and families are responsible for our own well being now and in the future....do not rely on government to support us, we are our own best allies, then reach out to communities being supportive, etc..., Yes indeed GrannysR, yes indeed....

Alaska should tighten it's borders and send truely illegal aliens back to where they belong in California. We should make sure all jobs in Alaska are filled by Alaskans. During fish season people in western Alaska could work at the cannaries in Ketchikan to make extra money to take back to the village. Both of the big canneries in town already provide dorm room housing. There are other jobs like that around the state. People just need to have the desire to work and they will find the jobs.

fill out applications and jobs will come to oneself. use past experience jobs and have interesting hobbies show that you can talk very good and honest in job interviews. more applications filed out able to choose the best job assignment. yes indeed.
