need HELP....Relocating to Valdez,AK
I can't seem to find any kind of info, on apartments or jobs in Valdez. I'm hoping to be there by September, any tips or info would be greatly appreciated.  |

www.valdezstar.net/03082006classifieds.html somewhere to live shouldn't be to much of a problem, finding a job may take more time. i just moved to valdez last sept. and it took me about a month to find a job.

Valdez Homes for Sale
Help.. I too am relocating to VDZ this May. I am seeing very little in the market for housing. The only websites for real estate I see is Sound Realty and Hursh. Anyone have any ideas on nice houses to buy? I don't want a trailer.. I dont want a Stick house. Looking for a nice 3 - 4 bedroom with garage and 2400 sq ft or more 250K or under. Are there any other websites with houses for sale?

I'm not up on real estate pricing in Valdez, but that might be a little underpriced for the area. I would have thought it to be somewhere in the $300K and up range.

Actually housing is less in Vdz than Anchorage. However, they do not have a huge market........... not tons of houses out there.
I am looking at one thats 3000 sq ft and 199K
but then again WHATS WRONG with it?

there are way more trailers than houses, i will drive around at lunch time and see how many for sale signs i see. i know there are a few. as for web sites sounds like you found the only ones there are. hope your hunt goes well
