Anchorage Phonebook
Just for those moving to the Anchorage area (like US).. we were going to order a phonebook from the area so we have more at our fingertips but instead found a downloadable version of the Yellow Pages online.

If any of you have Blackberrys or probably a similar phone, you can get the Beyond 411 app. It has a yellow pages search built in plus lots of other useful things.

no one uses phonebooks anymore. easy to program speed dial on cellular phones.

For those of us not in the area it's great to have the yellow pages so that we can see our options ... IMO in some ways it's better then the net life if you are trying to find apartments etc. |
