Oh, Bugger. Still looking, Saw 3 places but the first had tons of applications and stopped taking them. The 2 hubby said looked nice in the picture but the house were built side by side. Any grey poupon? Remember that commercial. The house were that close on the sides. The third I really liked but then the 3 bedroom was big enough for bunkbeds and nothing else. Bang my head against the wall . But, The sunny side will come. Any and All help is greatly appreciated and begged for. Anybody have any ideas about our daughters hair and who might do micro braids. Also now what is this my hubby was saying that you don't have much snow! I love snow!

We did have a few feet on the ground, but we had what is called a chinook blow through. Chinooks happen once or twice in an average winter, a stretch of days where a VERY warm breeze will come through and melt everything off and we start all over again. The chinooks are welcome in that it gives us a break from the cold, but they also, in the course of melting massive piles of snow, cause icy streets and treacherous footing, especially after the temps drop to a normal level.

It's the little things in life that count, I find. Clean dishes, clean laundry, fresh sheets, winning lottery tickets.

Hubby says we cannot go over 2K. If we want to adopt again the that's where we are staying, but that's o.k. But, thank you for all the help and please keep us in mind. Anyway I would probably be setting off the security system on a regular basis, and we might look like the hillbillies in the neighborhood.

We have a house! Hubby picked a house yesterday and is going to sign papers on Friday. Is's not as big as we'd like and I would have prefered more yard space. But, the landlord is being very nice. Is letting us put ina garden and landscape some so will se how it all goes. We'll be in Palmer or just outside on a dead end street. Well, Thanks to all who helped us look. Chrystal

Way to go Chrystal. You'll still be in the same neighborhood as a lot of the other ladies here on CD forum. Please feel free to jot a note if you have any more questions.

Well, I'll be the one driving up and we will be leaving on the 21st. We are hoping to make it in 5 days but are really unsure. It's going to be my uncle and oldest som in the u haul and me and my youngest son in our suburban pulling a trailer. The girls are going to stay with my aunt and then fly up on the 28th. I will ask has anybody else adopted while living in alaska and could recomend a good agency for a home study. I know we have alot on our plate but we so want to get that process going. Also, Any ideas on things to do and where to go, this would be around Palmer and Wasilla. How about parks any info?
