I'm SO looking forward to having our "stuff!" rather than living out of suitcases! By that time, it'll have been 3+ months!!! I know, I know...others have it WAY worse, but ykwim! And my poor dog is stuck in doggie jail til then!
Some GOOD news is that my desert bred husband is LOVING the snow! I KNEW I would convert him eventually...
Ok...babbled enough! Night y'all!
So you are saying 'March 16'??? You poor people...and doggie jail does not sound nice, especially after a big move and the ferry ride....poor dog!!!

You did the move, I don't think you need archives anymore...and you can come and play on the Alaska page too!!!

I get to play with you REAL Alaskans!?!?!?! YIPPEE! Thank you, Grannysroost! THANK YOU!
Yes, it's the 16th of next month. Had we waited for a 4 bedroom like we wanted, it would be a couple of months! Thankfully, the 3 bedroom will work.
As for poor Gonzo (goofy name for goofy dog!) I'm hoping to find a place with folks getting a house next week...I'll know by tonight! Not exactly "home" but at least not in a cage! The only thing we have to do after all that is go haul our 2 horses (mini) from Spokane, but that's gonna be in the Summer!

If it doesn't work out and providing your beastie won't mind two 'goofy' Labs and a cat; and providing you don't mind Wasilla area; I'd be happy to care for your dog until you are able to move into your home

Hey mama...welcome to Alaska....and welcome to Elmendorf. Where on base are you moving? We are over in Silver Run and we are not too far from TLF...let me know if you wanna get together some time. I haven't been on here much lately so I just saw this. We moved in our home on the 22 of Jan and then i got sick and it took us about a week to get all unpacked and then hubby went TDY back to TX for a month. so it's just me and the kids right now....Welcome neighbor! Holla!
