I'm looking into moving to a place near Lake Hood. Should I be concerned about the noise pollution from all the seaplane traffic? Will I be wide awake at 1am thinking, "Why oh why did I move here?!" as the buzz of another plane comes in for a landing? Thanks!

The planes at Lake Hood wont fly that late. So you should be good. You will get the sounds of jets from Ted Stevens International though.

I live right by Merrill Field...don't really notice the sounds after awhile. Ted Stevens jets are loud when they fly some kind of alternate pattern (usually in bad weather)
