When I went out today the temperature was about 60 in Anchorage and the sun was out with no clouds in the sky. I looked up and there was only a few spots of snow in places where the sun probably doesn't shine. I guess the warm winds of the last three days melted everything it could find. Anyway we were told us there would be snow in Anchorage by the first week of October. Is Alaska having global warming? In 1990 we went to see Portage Glacier from the new visitor's center and the front of the glacier was a short distance away Last week it was miles away.

It looks like I may not get up ther until January, but that's okay. Hubby was just there and really, really likes it. I hope I do!
