winter shots
Here's one of a winter festival, lots of ice carvings and such. Most unusual of all, look at that blue sky!
Here's one from Ididarod 33, I think thats Mitch Seavey and his team at the ceremonial start in Anchorage. This was literally right behind the Alaska Native Medical Center where my wife worked.

This is the first site I ever visited when starting to look up Alaska...Looks great in the winter when you can see the mountains in the background (and the snow, of course, the best part of winter).
It's updated every twenty seconds, so you can see whatever happens.

Just when I thought I'd seen every Alaskan picture possible ~ thanks Rance!
PS- Sweden.. I make it a constant habit to check the alaskacam everymorning when I sit down with my coffee at work. I get there early enough to see the mooses (meece? lol) playing in the streets before the city really wakes up. it's lovely. even in 20 second intervals.
