Default Info on Belleville, Canton, Ypsilanti apartments

I will be reloacating to the Belleville, Canton, Ypsilanti Michigan area very soon. I will need to live within 20 minutes of the Willow Run Airport. Looking on line for apartments I can afford and the reviews are scary. Does anyone have any information on which area might be the safest for a single lady? And which ones to avoid? Any information would be appreciated!

Avoid Ypsilanti apartments as they are filled with college students. I guess if I'd recommend any apartments in Ypsi it would be Lakeshore Apartments and they're right in the Willow Run area. Ford Lake Landing is very nice as well, you can go a little farther into Belleville and pretty much all apartments around the highway are nice. Canton is a best bet though. A lot calmer then the rest.

My youngest brother just graduated college and works in AA. He just moved into an apartment at the Pines of Clover Lane in Ypsilanti and loves it. It's less than a mile off -I94 and easy access to get to Willow Run. It's somewhat secluded - so you don't have the hustle/bustle - 24 hr amenities, fitness center, pool etc. I think one bedrooms were only in the $650 range. I visited two weekends ago and liked it. You'd be fine there.
