Default Elementary Schools--Abbott vs. Brayant-Patengill vs Bach vs. Ann Arbor Open at Mack

Greetings! I am originally from MI (detroit area) and currently living in SC. I relocating with my family (husband, young son and one dog) to Ann Arbor in August. I will be working in Chelsea, but want to live in Ann Arbor. We love the Old West Side area, but there is not much for sale in that area in our price range (up to 250k.) We have started branching out, and are considering home in the Abbott district and a few in the Bryantt-patengill district. Can anyone weigh in about these school districts? Also, we plan to continue montessori school through at least Kindergarten and are wondering if there is any one who can weigh in on Daycroft vs. Doughty Montessori? They both seem very good. Finally, how would you rate the safety of the Abbott neighborhood vs. Georgetown area where Bryant-patengill is located? Any and all advice is welcome! Thank you!
