I have a walkout basement...My deck is 10x20 and have concrete below. thinking of building a wood work shop in that space. Please share pictures if any of you have this. Any tips/ideas/warnings etc. of course. Will get HOA permission for this.

First list the HOA regulations. Everything is going to come from that.

I wish I could help. My first question is something I have wondered about for awhile - how do you make use of the space below a deck without dirt, twigs, food and stuff falling through the cracks? If you put a ceiling below the the deck, the cracks will fill up. I guess this assumes your deck boards aren't butted together like a real wood floor.
