The George Smith House-
One of FLW’s “cheap” build designs.

A 120yo house that clearly hasn’t been occupied for a while; would have to come with a very low interest rate for “historic” restoration; and a lower asking price- it’s apparently come down $200k; needs to keep trending downward.

Wow, that's early FLW.

He hadn't yet developed the low-slung "Prairie style," but you can already see some of its elements in that house. Just swap its peaked roof for a flat one.

…and it’s probably worth every penny of asking price!

And with this, we bracket his career; this house was built after Wright died in 1959.

Only $4 million for a Wright house in California? That's a steal.

Well, I’d be leery of the house itself. Let’s face it, A LOT of FLW houses have major flaws. But, it’s the acreage that makes it worthy. 70+acres in Cali for $4M- with vistas like that…
