GF72, that Hindu temple is beautiful! So much detail
When I saw that one of the mosque, I couldn't help but think of the Medinah Country Club up here.
Obviously the clubhouse was modeled after a mosque. I don't know anything about the history of this place, but I don't think this was a real mosque at one time.
Hey can you tell me some of those neighborhoods names? Last time i was in St. Louis, i loved it, though i only went downtown. Next time i go back, i would love to see more of it and lots of those photos highly appeal to me
A couple are from Lafayette Square, one from North St. Louis, a couple more from Central West End, and Downtown. Also, the "gingerbread" houses with the pointed roofs and stone around the corners are in St. Louis Hills (southwest St. Louis).
you know, I really don't like gridded roads and homes all lined up.
I like asymmetric neighborhoods, with winding roads, and spacing between houses, with landscaping and varied architecture that faces off in different directions.
I like that white building in the 7th picture. Pittsburgh needs a hose down though
