West Side Lelo's is the best place for a home cooked meal with generous portions at a reasonable price. Love their fried chicken dinner, no one could possibly eat an entire Cinnamon roll as it's the size of a dinner plate and 3" high. As for water in Seligman it's a matter of having water delivered at $.04 per gallon or haul your own at $.005 per gallon plus the costs associated with that process. Bridge Canyon going back the first 4-5 miles is pretty nice, great views, and people that will help if needed. The farther back you go the more self reliant they get and the more private they get. If you're looking at vacant property contact Yavapai Co about permit requirements and costs along with impact fees. Oh, you may also want to contact a couple of excavation contractors to get estimates before you buy. I bought and have a place there since 2005 and it wasn't that expensive but since then the county has changes regulations tremendously and the costs are off the hook.

I know its late, but I wanted to say, the Roadkill cafe has the best sweet tea I have ever had West of Texas. Good food, the atmosphere is old school, I loved everything about that place. I bought a t Shirt, and a road sign.

Kind of irrelevant to the conversation, but I had to share.

Lightbulb weather summer and winter

What is the average temp winter/ summer. I'm looking for a place to live with a decent winter temp and not too hot in the summer no 110 temp.
What is the water problem there should I have to dig a well? Thanks for a reply.

Try to find out if any neighbors have used a well and how far they drilled to hit water, you can get this info perhaps from the town hall too. If you can determine what depth others in area hit water , the same will probably be true for you. In the case of the well or trucked in water, you will need filter system.

Post back with your progress

Can you tell me where you go to get the water if you want to haul your own?
