It was 103 in Temecula, California and I thought that was hot. Hang in there our Arizona brothers.

Anything above 95 degrees is weather misery/madness for me.

Where I live in America, yesterday was 55 degrees at 10am, 58 degrees at noon, and 65 degrees at 3pm

I guess it was those temperatures too in Phoenix in a super air conditioned room. But take away air conditioning and what would someone do? Before a few decades ago, I dont even think air conditioning was invented yet.
And someone still has to go outside for at least 15 minutes to do things. Its not like they can bring the air conditioning with them.

Most would agree that 55-80 degrees are their favorite temperatures, including me.

The coldest weather I have EVER experienced was -40 in Fairbanks, AK in mid-Nov.. I don't wish to experience that again! Having to bundle up so all that's showing is your eyes and then they get frosted up when you breathe!

After the rain we had here yesterday it actually cooled down 30 degrees to 75! It was great and never did warm back up. I had my box fan in front of the sliding glass doors and it pulled that delicious cool air right into the living room. Priceless!!

I can relate.
I spent a year and half (ie TWO WINTERS) in North Dakota as a teen and we hit -38 with a 57 mph wind - giving us (under the calculation method of that time (it's changed slightly since)) a wind chill factor of -117 BELOW. It was so cold it actually BURNED (ie instant frostbite) anywhere that bare skin was exposed.

THAT cemented my dislike for winter weather.

Ken

PS - My dad spend a year in northern Alaska on the DEW line on a mountaintop just below the Arctic Circle - and he says that with the wind in North Dakota it was colder THERE than anything he experienced up in Alaska. Either way - wayyyyyyyyy tooooooooo cold.
