bstree is on a distinguished road
Parks is nowhere near the other two. Parks is nice if like real rural. Nice community. Not cheap. about 15 miles from either williams or flag. I personally wouldn't raise a kid in Payson. I have heard so many first hand accounts...

I worked and lived in Christopher creek and can say its pretty much a retirement get away from Phoenix community.
In the older days during the snow events if you were shopping in Payson and tried to get home you were at times stuck in town over night because of road closures.
I was also on the Dude fire and was amazed how quick the Zane Grey cabin was consumed. Plus just recently the promentory fire was right there. Fire is a natural occurence plus people leave campfires still burning so keep that in mind as well. Christopher Kohls fire district is a pretty good organization with Paramedics on board for any medical emergencies.
The new bypass is a great improvement as well.

Parks is up off of I-40 with plenty of pockets of houses and such most are off the grid haul your own water kind of place.

I don't dare post a link but google it and you will find there website explaining there fire district. I was the first and only EMT at the begining there and it has slowly evovled into having medics on staff. It was a slow and peacful department, in the begining they had old and tired equipment from other departments and looking at there website still have a mismatch of equipment but the key ingredient is they do the job..
Fire gets into your blood and it has been hard to slowly back away and let others take over.
