Hi to all! I am a travelling nurse who is about to take an assignment at Good Sam's. Never having been to Phoenix, I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions for an apartment that is in a safe neighborhood in this area? If this is not a really good area, what would the closest safe area to live? Any help is much appreciated!

I remember a thread before of a person going to work there. The many replies were very negative (location wise that is). Some were afraid to walk to their cars after work. You may try looking up that thread.
Okay, here it is... http://www.city-data.com/forum/phoen...d+sam+hospital |

Thanks Sablebaby for your reply! I've already accepted the contract for Good Sam and can't back out now. The thread you directed me to has made me a bit more apprehensive. I was looking online at apartments and I found one close to the hospital {about a mile away} called Camden Copper Square. It is gated and such. I'm hoping to possibly get a place there.
