Default Mohave County Road Guide

Hello to anyone with land in Mohave County or moving to Mohave County. There is a new road guide for the county that was just completed in the beginning of June, 2007. There has never been a detailed road map for the county ever! The road guide is more then just roads. It includes townships ranges and sections, subdivisions and roads and everything is indexed. Everything is also color coded showing BLM land, Arizona State land and private lands. For those of you that have land and live elsewhere have you been following the new subdivisions and have no idea where thay are in relation to your property? If you haven't been around here within the last few years alot of new subdivisions and housing developments have poped up. If you're looking at moving to Kingman, Havasu, Bullhead, Ft Mohave, Dolan Springs, Wikieup, Golden Valley, Golden Shores, White Hills, Chloride or anywhere in the south half of the county then I would highly recommend getting this book and doing a little home work. A lot of people who got here before poked around to find out where things were. You can buy it on line at Mohave VU or you can go to the site and get the address and pay by check. It's inexpensive at $20 plus $4.60 for shipping. It'll really help out when it comes time to move or your checking on what's happening around you property.

I bought mine through Hastings books. It was not as expensive as marked on the book.
As I take the short cuts at times it is nice to know the areas I am cutting through.
Like when I am in Wikeup working and I get a emergency repair in Bullhead I can take Chicken Springs over to Alamo Lake road and over to I-40 instead of going way up and through Kingman.
I have a site in Truxton and at times I need to get to Fort Rock at mp 92 on I-40 instead of going back to Kingman or Seligman just catch Hackberry road over from Rt 66 to I-40.
Now I have the names of the sub divisions in the areas and such.
Has been a great improvment.
