Hi all,
I'm a born and raised Illinoisan contemplating a move to AZ this fall. I lived in Arizona once before 7 years ago-in Wickenburg-but don't care to go back there because it's a small town without a lot of job opportunities. I hold a CDL (Commercial Driver's License) that can be transferred to AZ and was wondering if there is much need in Phoenix and its burbs or the Tucson area for truck drivers, especially dump trucks, cement trucks, delivery trucks etc. Ideas on where to live (renting) would be appreciated as well. Thanks! |

There's always a need for drivers out here due to the amount of construction that is always going on. A relative of mine recently got a sweet job driving truck for Sunstate. Check out their website

There is alot of driving jobs in the Valley area, esp. construction truck driving. The housing market in Phx. is a" buyers market" right now. If you need a realtor let me know I have a couple that I have used in the area and have been very happy with both.
