![]() Sure there are pool service companies in town, although I don't know their names because I like to do my own maintenance. My pool actually requires very little maintenance because it has an automatic pool cover, salt-water chlorine generator, and in-floor cleaning system. Really not a whole lot to do except kick back and enjoy it. ![]() |

Here's a picture of the new Tuscany Village Mall which is being built in the Hualapai area at the corner of Southern Ave, and Eastern Ave.
![]() I believe it will be the largest mall in Kingman so far, and has the nicest architecture. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes to rent out all the space and what kind of shops will move in. As it's within walking distance of my home, I'm pretty excited about it. That little separate shop way to the right of the picture is located right in the front corner of the mall. It would make a great location for a Starbucks. ![]() (I guess it was doggy time in the park). |

The "Mall" looks good. do you think there is adequate parking? Where will the people who enjoy taking their dogs go now? It may take a year or a year and a half to f.
ill up. I always wondered why that patch of land went unused, a Mall I guess was slated. I am sure most of the residents will be pleased. The 2nd Starbucks opened a month or more ago. It would be nice if the resident up there had a grocery store or a movie theater. Did Rancho ever get street lights? Why don't the builders of "malls" office space, provide covered parking. I only see one or two ads in the Dex Pg 135 for pool service people, without addresses. I guess with your state of the art self cleaning system that is not an issue for you It sounds great. e place they built the new office buildings was/is called Dead Mans Ditch. Starbucks would do well up there. . I would like to take a dip in my pool but 68 is a little chilly right now for me. |

There's additional parking around the sides and in back I believe. Doesn't look like much parking in front.
The grassy park where the dogs are stays. That's on the other side of Eastern. It's a huge area which doubles as a water cistern during monsoons. No streetlights in Rancho. They have underground utilities, so no poles. That's fine. Communities are starting to shy away from streetlights because of light pollution. Kingman has regulations on what kind of lights you can put outside your home for the same reason. As someone who likes to look at the nighttime sky, I greatly appreciate that. |

I do not know why my posts are not lined up straight. The appearance looks terrible and when I edit it doesnt get corrected? I apologize for that.
![]() Why is it called a mall? It looks like there are only a few parking spaces per office. I will take a drive up and see for myself. On a positive note regarding Kingman, there is ample free parking! |

What is light pollution? In the county you can have as many lights as you need. I had several dusk to dawn lights on top of the poles for security purposes. Motion sensors as well, I thought everyone did. I didn't realize Kingman had so many regulations. I would think in part it is because there is not enough power to go around.
I have heard the local business owners say that the city even tells them what kind of landscaping they are allowed to have. (low water plants) In the county the "regulations" are quite different, there is more freedom, which has its good and bad like everything else. The night sky is awesome here and the Cerbat Mountain range is great. When you have alot of space between you and your neighbors lights do not get in the way of enjoying the sky. I also enjoyed looking down on the city lights. I find it spooky to drive after dark without street lights. Maybe Kingman doesn't want people going out at night! ![]() |

I've lived in Laughlin, NV, Ft. Mohave, AZ, Bullhead, AZ and now Golden Valley, AZ. I go into Kingman weekly for groceries, days at the park, trips to the library, and shopping for such and such thing. I think, and this is only my opinion!, that Kingman is the cleanest. It has more(and better)schools and nicer, cleaner parks. I've run into many nice people and also very mean people, but isn't that found everywhere? I hated living in Bullhead! Too crowded, noisy, dirty, again, my opinion only. To each their own. I didn't have a very good time living there. Laughlin is okay, but there's nothing there! Every place will have its appeal to someone. I have a better doctor here than I did in Bullhead, I spend more time outdoors here than in Bullhead, I just feel, for me and my family, that there is more here to do than in Bullhead or Laughlin. Lake Havasu is nice, but I noticed that it seems to be changing? I feel that Kingman (and Golden Valley too!) is changing also-it's growing! So, like with everything, some will like Kingman and some won't.

Bullhead City, at least from Miracle Mile west, can be pretty questionable. Laughlin is OK but it basically is an 'upscale' gamblers' paradise IMHO Lake Havasu City in 2000 was nice; but, too much money flowed in there essentially ruining it for regular working people Golden Valley; like Kingman, has its good and bad points. Of all of Mohave County; my fave would also be Kingman------in particular, N of Beale St up to Paulo Christi (sp) School ![]() |

I lived in laughlin, ditto,I zip to do, but it was clean. BHC disgusting and scary. compared to those places (which isnt much by some peoples standards) Kingman is pretty good!! I heard a China Panda is coming in soon. Visit the college as well. in there library you can stay as long as you like on the puters and print for free up to 20 pages. You can also study, eat, watch TV, take a class.iIt is safe and clean.
