I have some minor questions, as I'm not sure how reliable the data out there is.

1)How often does it rain in Kingman? Is there ever heavy rain, like showers? Are there ever lightning and thunderstorms? The information about snow seems pretty consistent but I'm hearing different things about the rain. Can anyone who lives there let me know?

2) What's the high speed internet like in Kingman? Is it good enough for playing high intensity online games (like say, Starcraft 2 when it comes out)? I know there's local DSL but how good is it? None of the major companies I've ever used have service in the Kingman area.

3) I've heard bad things about the apartments in Kingman. If you were about to move there and prefer to live alone what would you do?

Thanks!

Ok, this one's easy. Summers are almost completely dry, with the exception of monsoon season. Monsoon season is maybe four to six weeks during July/Aug. During monsoons, we may or may not get afternoon thundershowers, ranging from a sprinkle, to a major cloudburst of several inches of rain. Can you say "flooding? Some monsoon seasons are wetter than others, and some years we'll get very little rain during the monsoons. This past summer was pretty dry for example. I like the monsoons, the lightning displays are really cool.

Winters have occasional rain. Maybe one or two days every couple of weeks. Spring and fall are usually dry.

Awesome. You have your choice of both cable and DSL, and they're both top-quality in terms of speed and reliability. I'm in IT, so my livelyhood depends on it and I know what I'm talking about here.

I'll have to defer to others for that. However, I'd definitely look at renting a small house. Houses rent in the $600-$1,000 range.

Good luck!

This is the only part that is conflicting from other data. I've heard about this monsoon season as they call it, but on the city-data page for Kingman it shows pretty much a flat line for precipitation, never rising above 1 inch/month. Is the city-data page wrong?
