Back to page az. I lived their for eight months while I worked at the lake. NOw I have a fam. My wife's father just bought land east of flag, and she wants to be closer to him. I am looking to buy a house. For those who live in any resort town, do you regret it? My parents moved to steamboat co in the mid 80's, and left 5 years ago. Made a killing on their house. While I do not expect Page to grow like tha boat, will it be worth it. I am a chef, and have a good work record, I think I could work at the resort for a while. What other pit falls am I not taking in to account?

I lived in Palm Springs, then Laughlin NV and Bullhead City AZ, all vacation/resort areas. The transient population is one pitfall . . . people come and go which can make it hard to get good wages or find good help. And seasonal visitors/events can cause traffic problems for year round commuters.
