Default Tubing down the Verde River

I am contemplating tubing down the Verde as a change from the Salt River. I have tubed down the Salt many a time and find it rather slow and with little to no shade. Has anyone experienced both rides? Can you give me an idea of how the Verde rides? Thanks.

I have not done either but I do want to try... Just so you know today on Deal Chicken there is a deal for Verde River tubing. No I don't work there. I was looking for reviews to compare the two and just thought I would share.
