Default Possible Job in Eloy. Please help!

I have recently telephonically interviewed for a job in Eloy. I flying in for a second in-person interview. What areas in the surrounding Eloy area are good to live in? I am 28, male, single and my concerns are culture and activities, shopping centers (Target, groceries, clothing stores, etc) and low crime. Eventually, when I have a family, I will be concerned about school districts. I would emphasize that I am looking for a nice (not dumpy) place to live and would not want to travel more than 30 minutes to work.

The other option is that I may be able to get the same position located in Florence, AZ. I would probably consider Gold Canyon if I worked in Florence.

Any thoughts? I am new to this, so please help me out.

thanks

Sadly, Michigander, Eloy is a great place if you like LOTS OF NOTHING.

No expert here but I would imagine your best bet would be Casa Grande (a few miles North of Eloy) or Marana (a northern suburb of Tucson) in order to find a little excitement without having a killer commute.

Good Luck

How's Casa Grande? It's a federal job, which would explain why the locations are very remote.

Perhaps Florence would be better as it is not far from Gold Canyon and Apache Junction???

LOL @ Michigander . . . "REMOTE" is being very PC.

I have a feeling a 28 year-old single guy would go BONKERS in that part of Arizona. If you were 75 or older, I might feel differently. I would bet the highlight of your day would be watching a wreck on I-10 or counting the Box Cars on the passing Freight Train.

I really think you need to take a day or two and check out the excitement for yourself.

Good Luck
