Just getting things organized for when I check out Sierra Vista rentals. Any apartment suggestion or condo suggestions from anyone in the area? I was also planning on checking out Bisbee as I think I have widdled it down to livng at one of those places rather than Douglas. Thanks in advance.

There are usually some condos for rent on Carmelita Drive in Sierra Vista. Some of them are really nice, some need updating. I have heard that Mountain Steppes Apartments on Foothills Drive are nice, but have not seen them myself.

I would not count Douglas out until you visit. What some may see as deal breaker may be totally acceptable to you. One of my college instructors was police chief there for many years, and he says it is a nice place to live (he is probably biased though ).

Yeah good advice. I'm not fully counting it out yet, but from what I've read, I feel like I would rather live in Bisbee or Sierra Vista. I'll know soon when I'm there to visit and check things out...just trying to get a head start. Thanks for the advice.

If you are working in Douglas many folks live in S V or Bisbee. But, the head of maintenance at Buena lives in Douglas and drives to SV daily.

There are some new Condos by the Sierra Vista Mall. Most are TDY Rentals for the Army Schools but they have them for sale too. I think a 2 brdm is around $150K. You can short term lease plenty of Condo's or Houses to see what you like in Sierra Vista just google TDY Sierra Vista and you'll see plenty. I wouldn't put myself in for a longer commute than I need to.

It's called Casa Antigua and it's handled by Haymore Realty.
There are some new Apartments behind the Mall where Outback is too
If you are going to be working in Sierra Vista you should probably rent there a while.
