page, az. is a beautiful place to live. if you prefer to not live in the fast lane, page is the place for you. great place to raise a family and a great place to retire. lake powell is 80 degrees from early july til mid or late sept. i was still sailing in 65 degree water 3rd wk of october. minimal crime. good schools. a community college, good library. it's small town flavor which attracted us here for retirement. plus i've taken 1000s of pix since we moved here. its a photographers paradise! many tourist attractions within a one day trip out, looksie and come home. monument valley, natural arches national monument, escalante national monument, bryce canyon, kodocrome valley, zion national park, both rims N & S, coral sands national park. there are many photo opportunities in just the surrounding page area and on the way to the various tourist attractions. many churches to choose from, good dining. a really kewl small town flavor. hope this helps. kat ps: woops, i forgot rainbow bridge a nice boat ride up the lake outta page. there's fly fishing at lee's ferry and boat trips down the colorado river below the glen canyon dam.
