Cool Can you shed light on the quality of homes in Anthem??

I have heard rumors that construction quality in some areas in Anthem may be sub-standard. I also have that the earth in some areas may be less-stable than anticipated; leading to cracking foundations or out-of-level conditions.

My wife and I are considering a move to the area and have found the homes to be appealing and apparent quality to be good, but we want to understand whether these are real issues or just rumors.

Can anyone shed some light on the topic??

I have family that resides in Anthem and I have never heard of any issues as far as "less than stable" grounds. There are many builders within anthem and i'm sure some of them are better than others however, again, i've never heard of anyones structure cracking but i'm sure it's possible. I would check out the more well known buiders in Anthem. I know Dell Webb has a community they are constructing up there....It looks very well built to me Sorry i couldn't be much of help.

Yes they have had their unstable soil problems.
Go into Google and type in Unstable Soil in Anthem AZ and you can read the report about Del Webb's Anthem north of Phoenix.
