Rimrock is close to Camp Verde. Probably about a 30-35 minute drive to PV and an additional 20 minutes on into Prescott.

T58 is on a distinguished road
I have been considering buying a small investment property in the Lake Montezuma area or Camp Verde. I sounds like an area that would be desirable for folks who want to retire near Sedona but cant afford that. Also I was wondering how many people commute to Sedona. Are my suspicions correct. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

SedonaShadow is on a distinguished road
Before I retired to Village of Oak Creek, which could be considered south Sedona, I checked out Rimrock, Lake Montezuma and surrounding area. IMHO much of it is not that desirable. My question to you is why would anyone want to "commute" to a 100% tourist town? Myself and most of my friends go to Cottonwood to shop where there are many more stores, without the Sedona tourist markup and many less tourists. Of course now with the never ending construction, no one wants to travel from VOC to Sedona unless it's an emergency!
