It is still going ahead as far as I can tell. I can't believe people are still

about this. The one thing people have always done is entertain themselves, especially in hard economic times. Even during the depression people continued to go to movies and plays. World War II didn't stop people from seeking entertainment, why would people stop now?:
Hi Matt,
Just following up on your interest in the investment
opportunity with the new Theme Parks in Arizona.
With the capital raise for the units in the Theme Park project
drawing to a close our focus is shifting to the opportunity
we have on the land under and surrounding the Williams theme park.
The current economic situation is working in our favour for two
reasons.
Firstly, we are able to renegotiate the land options to much
more favourable terms. This means we do not need the large
amounts of funds we originally calculated for.
Secondly, with regard to the whole project, investors are
taking money out of stocks and property and investing in bonds,
and this is good as the project is being funded by bond money.
** Only 42 membership units now available **
There are a total of 350 membership units in Grand Canyon Land
Company LLC of which a maximum of 70 are being offered. Each
membership unit is $50,000 making a total placement of
$3,500,000. The purpose of raising this capital is to manage
land purchases and fulfil our option obligations on the land.
** First sale already made **
Of the 255 acres we have under option, 130 of these acres have
been purchased under contract by the Theme Park Company which
will settle when the Bond under Arizona House Bill 2365 is
filled. There is a contract in place for the purchase of these
130 acres and a copy of this contract is in the Regulation D,
Private Placement Memorandum.
Opportunities then lie with the remaining and adjacent 125
acres surrounding the Theme Park development. We just received
the following letter from the Grubb & Ellis/BRE Land Group
which outlines the values expected to be achieved once
construction starts:

This shows the incredible upside for investors in the Grand
Canyon Land Company.
The offer for each of these 42 units is as follows:
1 Each membership unit is priced $50,000
2 Once the contract is completed with Grand Canyon Theme
Park Holdings $100,000 will be repaid
3 During this time a 8% interest payment will be accrued
and paid also on completion of this contract .
4 There is no change to your equity status at this point;
that is 1/350
5 Our Proforma projections indicate a further $80,000
could be paid out over the ensuing 2 years.
As we said there are only 42 units available.
We would love to have you in this venture with us.
