Don't worry, Nitram . . . strange things happen to me when I'm OFF MY MEDS! ! ! ! !

On the positive side . . . maybe moving Bisbee closer to I-10 would also move it closer to the 21st Century!

Yes and no; Bisbee is definitely greener as in vegetation.

And it (Bisbee) is bigger with actual shopping------Jerome has one small market that sells things like soda pop, etc.

For gas; one has to drive down the hill to Cottonwood.

Personally; I like both places but for different reasons.

I think I would like the "living in the past" feeling of Bisbee, 'cause I sure don't like living in the present ...

taxes too high,
wages are low and not adjusted to cost of living increases.
govt. is just another big greedy corp. lying to us.
traffic so congested in most urban areas.
news on TV is controlled by the big media-owned companies.
politics is just the same old cliques.
so,
what's so bad about escaping reality ?

Are there any artists in Bisbee?

Thanks sierraAZ!
I don't know about where you are, but NJ is so crowded, noisy, busy, rushed, expensive, grumpy, politically corrupt, cold, and yet,
we all still live here. I mean, we DO have every convenience, but lately I'm wondering , at what price? My husband will not move unless he has another job,and we think the job outlook is bad,
but I'm still the dreamer thinking of starting over somewhere nice and sunny and friendly.
Did anyone see Boston Legal last night? The James Spader character was so funny talking about the govt. over-spending, the war thats draining our people and economy, and the absurdity of the president. (i had a good laugh.)

Yeah, I saw it. I follow Boston Legal. Talk is cheap and apparently allowed to some extend. It's not like it's gonna change anything. It was kinda overdone and out of place, though, even for Alan's court appearances.

Yeah, I agree with you sierraAZ, about it being overdone. He's become more like a charicature of himself, over the top. But I still liked seeing someone say that the spending for the Iraq was is out of control, and we could surely use that money here for people who need help.

If you look on any road map you'll see that all the towns are about 1 hour apart on I-10. They were originally there for pit stops for the weary travelers from Tucson to El Paso.

If you want to know how they got the background for the roadrunner/coyote cartoon, just drive between Tucson and El Paso/Las Cruces. You literally go thru about 5 cities.

Default Bissbee and Tombstone

Shhhh. Why ruin a good thing. All one has to do is visit Sedona and see what can happen when a place becomes popular. Talk about ruining a beautiful spot! What was once vast open space is now being taken over by the latest craze and ultra chic crowd. Starbucks has replaced the coffee stop, the roadside tourist attraction is now a glaring ultra tribute to europe and not Arizona.

Please leave Tombstone and Bisbee as it is. I much prefer it that way.
