I was wondering, is there any particular reason why Kingman/Bullhead are part of the Phoenix Nielsen DMA for TV local channels? Shouldn't they be part of the Las Vegas DMA instead? After all, the Kingman/Bullhead area is much closer (both geographically and economically) to Las Vegas than it is to Phoenix.

That is always been a question in my mind.
We can receive Vegas TV here with a good roof top antenna system, plus Wecom has some channels available off of Hualapai peak.
Another one to consider say I place a order for some product out of Reno Nv. it gets shipped travels PAST Kingman to Phoenix to a distribution point and then rerouted BACK to Kingman instead of the distribution point in Vegas and south to Kingman.
