We're getting ready to move to Casa Grande, AZ. I would like to know what options for internet there are and the average download speeds. Can anyone help?

All of the normals are here - Cox, Qwest (Centurylink)...I use a smaller (what used to be locally owned) microwave based service from:

Transcend Broadband

They are pretty good....I ve had it 4 years and have only had a few outages...the only complaint I have is that their tech department isnt available 24 hours...but when service has gone down after hours, they still seem to get on it pretty quickly. I think they get automatically paged....but my neighbors mostly have COX and they seem to be happy with them.

P S - Welcome! Think you are moving into town at a good time! Lots on the horizon here...

We live outside of Casa Grande on an acreage were service from Cox was not available. We had to go with Centurylink (which was Quest at the time) and have had decent service.

Its not a very fast speed (I believe its only a 2.5 Mbps connection) but there are faster plans available when you're located in town. It is adequate for our needs and the rates are very resonable from them.
