This is the local Arizona forum, not Politics and Other Controversies. If you'd like to discuss the issue in a broader context, please head over to the P&OC forum.

There is one significant issue with why this ruling doesn't apply to Arizona. One that is stated in the 9th circuit opinion.

In California, gay marriage was legal prior to the Prop 8 amendment. In Arizona it was not.
The 9th circuit opinion only applies to situations where a legal right was taken away from a certain group of people through a constitutional amendment.

Whether you are for it or against it doesn't matter, this ruling can't be used in Arizona. The 9th circuit was very careful to craft an opinion that really only applies to California (& possibly Hawaii).
