In 70 years I`ve lived lots of places winter and summer. I`ve found Star Valley, Wyoming the best place from June to November if u enjoy 70 to 90 degree days. Then Lake Have-a-sue November to June.. Property values are about the same and there are about the same # of golf courses. UTV riding is unlimited either place. dh

If I had to choose between the two, I would choose Lake Havasu City because I am a heat lover and Lake Havasu City gets a lot of scorchers in the summer with highs known to exceed 125 from June 21 to July 8. Those dates are just a guess mainly because of the summer monsoon season and the rise in humidity tempering the extreme temperatures somewhat. I also choose Lake Havasu City because there is this attraction there that I haven't seen yet but I really want to see it. The London Bridge! I have heard so much about it and it's also the second most popular attraction in Arizona after the Grand Canyon!

Let's see, Phoenix in the heart of "The Valley of the FACE of the Sun" or Havassu, at one of the ends of the earth.

Yes, you should see the London Bridge. After driving hours through endless, scorching desert you arrive at the grand dream of the chainsaw king, to scratch your head realizing some people just have way too much money.

BTW, it's for sale, just make me an offer. Cash only please.

Oh, I do have the Grand Canyon for sale, take cash and local checks.....
Or diamants, gold, or trade for a house with swimming pool.....

BTW, I would rather live in LHC, if money was not an issue....

PHX over Havasu all day.

there are no jobs worth anything here, the weather sucks (except winter). The fishing isn't that great, the people here are ok for the most part. A lot of shady people, business's, corrupt cops, and corrupt local government. Run far away from havasu unless you are very well set on money.

After living here 33 years, I can only agree on your jobs comment.
